Futura was made for Bauer firm in 1927 by Paul Renner.

This is often a sans serif face dependant on geometrical shapes, representative in the aesthetics on the Bauhaus faculty of the 1920s-30s. Issued via the Bauer Foundry in a wide selection of weights and widths, Futura became an extremely popular choice for text and screen setting.

Initially Cyrillic edition of eight styles was produced at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1995 by Vladimir Yefimov. Added Cyrillic kinds were produced in 2007 by Isabella Chaeva. Simultaneously, the old eight types had been partly revised to match the entire family members.

Now the brand new Futura is really an uniform style procedure, consisting of seven weights with corresponding obliques as well as 8 condensed types. Every one of these fonts are coordinated in letterforms, metrics, and weights to operate superior alongside one another.

Originally Cyrillic version of eight styles was developed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1995 by Vladimir Yefimov. Additional Cyrillic styles were developed in 2007-2009 by Isabella Chaeva.
