Halcyon Sans Font was the result a 4 year long design process. Built on the foundations of classic typefaces such as Futura, Gill Sans and ITC Avant Garde, but mixes their geometric structure with humanist qualities. The result is a strange hybrid of sub-classifications, we like to call post-geometric. It’s everything you would want from a modern sans-serif, only with a fist full of of personality sprinkled all over it.
We realized the need for a conventional and useable sans, everybody seems to want them – but the world doesn’t need another soulless grotesk. So we drew our own. Something a little more affable, kinda like a character from Friends.
