About narma font
Narma (نرما, Softness) is the font family built on my new perso-arabic writing system with the intent of clarity and legibility of the resulting script.
Unlike the traditional Arabic conjoint font styles, all five font styles in this family are disconnected. The shapes of the capital (isolated) letters are also altered in a way that creates a more uniform appearance.
The narma LP (Less Point) is the dot-reduced version in which glyphs with two or more dots are replaced with a new dotless shape. Except the narma regular, all other styles use the reduced dots alphabet.
The narma MC (Mixed Case) mimics Latin fonts, allowing typists to select between small and capital letters using a software shift key. The software shift can be on/off by hitting two consequent Alef_Hamza_above/Alef_Hamza_below letters.
The last two styles are Small Caps (narma SC) and All Caps (narma AC) versions of this family.
