The design of UT Moringans is informed by the round shape of the moringa leaf with no sharp edges. The moringa tree is also known as the ‘miracle tree’ and is associated with growth, and health. All of these characteristics have been subliminally incorporated into the overall shape of the font’s letters. This typeface bridges two worlds: The rigid monotone of sans serifs and the free flowing curves of the natural world.
