YouTube is a very popular video sharing website that allows users to upload, share and view videos online. YouTube was first launched in 2005 in San Bruno by three guys and then it was acquired by Google in 2006 for $ 1.65 billion.
The font used for the YouTube logo seems to be Trade Gothic LT Std Bold, which is a sans serif font created by Jackson Burke between 1948 and 1960. Trade Gothic typeface is characterized by its condensed faces, which is good for headline uses.
